The split branch produced a pair of (almost) mirrored benches revealing the expression of growth as curvaceous form. This segment of time is suspended as a relic. It works by hanging on the structural principle of the ‘dovetail’ beam which sliced across the bench. The wooden mass is charred black on the underside to preserve.
